Examinations

A dental check-up will begin with a thorough examination of your mouth, teeth and gums to assess your dental health. Your dentist may take x-rays if necessary.

If any treatment is required as a result of the examination, your dentist will give you a full explanation of your options, and the costs involved.

During the appointment your dentist may give you advice on how to keep your teeth and gums healthy, which may include a minimal removal of scale and a polish.

You may be given leaflets with information about our dental treatments and If you are an NHS patient you will find details of the NHS charges displayed in our waiting room.

If you attend as a private patient a separate fee list is available, and costs will be discussed with you.
